VISION

The vision of the USAFCENT Band is to utilize the universal language of music to promote peaceful relationships while building and strengthening communities which will remain long after the conflict ends.

MISSION

The mission of the USAFCENT Band is to deliver timely and appropriate 'effect' through the medium of music to serve COMAFFOR/CFACC's strategic communication, partnership building, and Air Force, Joint, and Coalition morale objectives in the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility.

BANDS

The USAFCENT Band is the first permanently assigned Air Force Band to the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility.  The band is comprised of deployed Airmen from Active Duty, Reserve and Air National Guard bands. These dynamic musicians perform and tour in small ensembles throughout the AOR to positively promote troop morale, diplomacy and outreach to host nation communities.

The AFCENT Band rotates several ensembles through the AOR that perform a wide variety of musical styles to appeal to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.   

PERFORMANCE MISSIONS
- Troop Morale (large gatherings, dining facilities, "walk-arounds" to work centers, etc)
- Forward and Contingency Operating Bases (bring the show to them)
- Diplomatic, Embassy, International Outreach
- Community Outreach (local performances, local schools, local music students, etc)

PERFORMANCE GROUPS
- The AFCENT Band is an expeditionary music squadron comprised of professional musicians from the Active Duty, Guard and Reserve components of the USAF Band career field. The groups that deploy are very versatile and able to perform in several musical settings. Performances are designed to meet a variety of needs in various environments--the AFCENT Band can perform in environments with and without electrical power.

SCHEDULING
- If you have a major event at which you would like the band to perform, contact the AFCENT Band ASAP to make the necessary arrangements. Tour destinations are projected months in advance and require coordination.

HOW YOU CAN HELP US
- Arranging the AFCENT Band local performance and logistics
- Inform local commanders that this asset is on their base
- Assign POC for coordination of band details at TDY location
- Make local billeting and transportation arrangements
