Wing commanders, command chiefs, coalition partners and staff from across Ninth Air Force (U.S. Air Forces Central) gathered in-person and virtually for a commander’s conference hosted here Nov. 6-7.

Leaders discussed future operations and shared best practices to strengthen the command’s culture and climate during the two-day event.

“We operate in a continually-evolving theater where non-routine is routine,” said Lt. Gen. Greg Guillot, Ninth Air Force (USAFCENT) commander. “It is imperative that we use opportunities like this to collaborate, with the goal of building an organization that maintains a disciplined, combat focus and recognizes the value of each member we’ve been trusted to lead.”

The diversity of attendees and their participation both at the event and virtually from Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, exemplifies the importance of the coalition and distributed operations to the command.
