Emergency personnel from a variety of specialties including firefighters, security forces and medics participated in a hazardous materials exercise at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar March 16. The exercise, which featured mock explosives and chemicals, provided first responders with an opportunity to practice responding to a HAZMAT incident. Emergency responders often participate in exercises to obtain realistic training.
