CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT JARROD D. SEBASTIAN

Chief Master Sergeant Jarrod Sebastian is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 380 Air Expeditionary Wing.  He is the senior enlisted advisor to the installation commander on mission effectiveness, professional development, readiness, training, utilization, health, morale, and welfare of 3,600 warfighters within 4 groups and 14 squadrons. The wing provides air refueling; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; air battle management; control and reporting; ground attack; air support; theater security cooperation; and airlift missions for overseas contingency operations in Southwest Asia. Chief Sebastian also works with base and community leaders to develop and implement policies and programs that positively impact the quality of life for more than 4,100 military personnel and civilian employees.

Chief Sebastian grew up in Dallas, Texas and entered the Air Force in May 1990. His background includes numerous leadership positions at squadron and group levels. Throughout his career, he has filled a myriad of roles including Command Chief Master Sergeant as well as Chief Enlisted Manager and Additional Duty First Sergeant. In addition, he has amassed over 2,100 flying hours including 364 combat hours on 198 combat sorties. His assignments include bases in Montana, Florida, Delaware, California, Texas, Afghanistan, Nevada and Georgia. He has deployed in support of Operations NORTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM and NEW DAWN.
