Airmen assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department perform a test for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, Dec. 3, 2021. Firefighters from ASAB and Al Jaber Air Base completed more than 200 hours of class room and practical instruction and 60 hours of clinicals between ASAB and Camp Arifjan for an Emergency Medical Technician class. The class is designed to increase firefighters’ medical response capabilities when responding to an emergency. This is also one of the first EMT classes to take place in a deployed environment.
