380th AEW Airmen train for hazardous response

11/17/2010 - Airman 1st Class Zachary Certain, 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron emergency management journeyman, uses an ADM 300 to simulate testing for the presence of Alpha Particulate Radiation on the front of the RADECO air sampler Nov. 13, 2010 during a joint bio environmental/emergency management exercise at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. During the exercise Airmen from the 380th ECES and 380th Expeditionary Medical group practiced responding to an unknown hazard, and monitored for chemical, biological and radiological hazards.
