The Air Force selected 468 active-duty officers for promotion to colonel and major during recent central selection boards.

In total, the Air Force selected 449 lieutenant colonels for promotion to colonel in the calendar year 2019D Line of the Air Force, chaplain and nurse corps CSBs and 19 captains for promotion to major in the CY19D chaplain CSB.

Prior to releasing the public list on myPers, the Air Force’s Personnel Center provided senior raters with advance knowledge of their officers’ selection to allow notification through the chain of command.
