TRANSIT CENTER AT MANAS, Kyrgyzstan - A new MRAP all-terrain vehicle is off-loaded from a commercial aircraft on the flightline here Jan. 3. The 376th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron is responsible for up transiting these new M-ATVs. The new up-armored vehicles are being transported to Afghanistan on C-17s. Because of its role in the transportation of servicemembers and supplies in and out of the area of responsibility, the Transit Center is known as the "gateway to Afghanistan."
