Tech. Sgt. James Heim, 379th Expeditionary Medical Group, and Army Sgt. Jonathan Brown, 427th Medical Logistics Company, place leads while Spec. David Travis, also assigned to the 427th, reads measurements from an oscilloscope while troubleshooting a high voltage generator Aug. 21, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The generator installation, needed for an x-ray system is part of a move of all medical facilities from temporary expeditionary trailers to newly completed permanent buildings. All three servicemen are biomedical equipment repair technicians deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Sergeant Heim, a native of Northumberland. Pa., is deployed from the 193rd Special Operations Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard in Middletown, Pa.
