SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Airman 1st Class Timothy Brady, a vehicle operator assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron's 70th Medium Truck Detachment (MTD), practices inserting an IV into the arm of Chief Master Sgt. Matthew Malenic, 70th MTD superintendent on Aug. 10 at a base in Southwest Asia. The medical technique is a required skill to complete Combat Life Saver Refresher training, a requirement for vehicle operators driving convoys through Iraq and surrounding areas.
