MANAS AIR BASE, KYRGYZ REPUBLIC -- Maintainers from the 376th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron prepare to change out the high frequency radio coupler from the vertical stabilizer on one of the wing's KC-135 Stratotankers, Aug. 2. The coupler boosts the HF radio performance on the aircraft to give it extended communications range during long refueling missions.
