On The Job: Maintenance ensure continued operations
Senior Airman David Reddocha, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron electrical and environmental journeyman, attatches a hot-air machine to a 50-gallon liquid oxygen tank to purge it, removing contaminates, here June 26.The E&E shop maintains the liquid oxygen for aircrew members, patient therapuetic liquid oxygen for medical teams airlifting patients, and batteries for aircraft who support operations throughout the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. Airman Reddocha hails from Tucson, Ariz. and is deployed from Kadena Air Base, Japan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
