MSgt. Vance has truly stepped up to the challenge! During a period of intense ops in the J6 Directorate his leadership and capability has proven to be critically instrumental to the range of mission supporting cyber systems FOB Oqab relies upon 24/7/365.

Whether it was his outstanding leadership and efforts while at PeH as the Advisor to the AAF S6 Comm Advisor (Lt Col) or as the Superintendant of the J6 Directorate ensuring communications upgrades, Help Desk Operations and Management over 3 classified US Networks supporting over 600 Wing/Group account--MSgt. Vance has truly excelled and greatly impacted our Oqab Team and mission.

As the Lead Wing Sys Admin managing our multitier 438 AEW Morale Network to include Radio links as well as a robust extensive WIFI capability on KAIA and FOB Oqab. His skills and ceaseless capability have truly been evident during the sudden loss of our 16 person contracted Oqab Help Desk. MSgt Vance rose to the challenge and ensured full C3I (Command, Control, Computers and Information) capability with zero impact to mission ops.

MSgt. Vance additionally excels as our 438 AEW & 438 AEAG CRO (COMSEC Responsible Office) and a TCO (Telephone Control Officer) directly ensuring essential communications for MOVCON ops and Advising AT/Force Protection. His SNCO skills, leadership and capability have been exceptional during a critical period for the J6 Directorate.
