Mission Accomplishments:
Master Sgt. Cuevassalath has been an invaluable asset and his commitment to the mission is impeccable.
Recently, he painstakingly oversaw the new fuel contract supply operations that allowed the Afghan Air Force to resume Mi-17 training and flight ops. He tracked down a 78,000 liter bulk fuel load that was delivered to the wrong location in MeS and had it redelivered to Balkh AFB within two days.
Furthermore, he ensured the AAF bulk fuel storage tanks were fully certified and operational. Cuevassalath coordinated over 15,000 liters of fuel for into-plane refuel requests for three separate locations in RC-N. His actions led to the AAF completion of two casualty evacuations, movement of more than 20 personnel and execution of more than eigth training sorties.
