Project Quesada
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Mark Wiggin, 609th Air Operations Center Joint Interface Control Cell non-commissioned officer in charge, describes the U.S. Central Command air picture to Florence 1 School District’s Advantage Academy students at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Nov. 30, 2022. Units from Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central), 15th Air Force and the 20th Fighter Wing worked together to host an engagement for 35 local high school students as part of Project Quesada. The new Air Combat Command-led program is designed to attract and recruit talented students seeking careers in aviation, science, technology, engineering and math in an effort to develop future aviators and leaders.
