ASAB OCN COVID Screening Procedures
386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Airmen are responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment on the installation. Normal operating procedures must continue during times of heightened health protection levels. Screening of all Other Country Nationals is just one way these Airmen are continuing to complete the mission.
Virtually there, ASAB facilitates online fitness
Maj. Matthew Cork, 386th Air Expeditionary Wing command post director, is one of many fitness class instructors that is currently creating online videos for ASAB members to download through 386th EFSS channels. 386th AEW cleans up the Combat Attic connex
Members from the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing came together to clean up Combat Attic storage units, March 5, 2020 at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. RADR Mobile Training Team supports ASAB Airmen and Marines
Airmen with the 435th Construction and Training Squadron from Ramstein Air Base, Germany traveled across the Area of Operation to provide Rapid Airfield Damage Repair (RADR) training and vehicle familiarization to deployed units. On February 19, 2020, RADR Mobile Training Teams were able to give Airmen from the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron and U.S. Marine engineers assigned to Al-Jabr Air Base Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, with hands-on and real-time airfield repair at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. One of Eight: ANG C-130 hits 10,000 hours
In 1996, eight C-130’s rolled out of the Lockheed Martin factory and sent to the Minnesota Air National Guard. Since then, the 133rd MXG has been maintaining these aircraft throughout its service life. Only one to date has reached 10,000 flying hours while deployed to Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait on February 10, 2020. Jet 96-10003 hit this mark after completing tours to Oman, Bagram, Kuwait and other operations since 2002.
Camp Sparta 5k Obstacle Course Challenge
On January 25, 2020, the inaugural Camp Sparta 5k Obstacle Course Challenge was held with over 100 participants from the base. The race consisted of 16 obstacles such as a rope climb, hurdles, and tire pulls and served as a challenging workout for all that attended.
