The C-17 Globemaster III is capable of rapid, strategic delivery of personnel and cargo to main operating bases and forward bases in the U.S. Air Forces Central area of responsibility.
Loadmasters inspected and loaded a firetruck and various palletized materials on to the C-17 while flying crew chiefs performed pre-flight inspections and engine maintenance prior to departure.
