JSTARS reach 90,000 hours in AOR

The E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System, or Joint STARS, deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar from Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, reached 90,000 combat hours in U.S. Central Command's Area of Responsibility here July 23, 2014. Joint STARS men and women have contributed tremendously to overseas contingency operations such as; Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, New Dawn, Odyssey Dawn, and Unified Protector. Their operations include support of six Combatant Commands including U.S. Pacific Command, U.S. Northern Command and U.S. Southern Command, U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Europe Command.
