Multirole AFCENT Airmen, Marines take to skies, strengthen joint interoperability, lethality

U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons takes off from Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jan. 4, 2022, in support of a joint training mission with additional U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps aircraft, to include the E-11A Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) and F/A-18 Hornets. Complex missions such as these increase aircrew’s abilities across the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility, ultimately strengthening the lethality of the total force.
