Juneteeth: Mutual respect and meaningful conversation

A Juneteenth Ceremony was put together by a team of black service members at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, June 19, 2022. Lt. Col. Countess Cooper, a chaplain with the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing, began the ceremony with a long scene-setting speech of what Juneteenth means, within the graphic is an excerpt of her speech. The words “Freedom for every generation along the bottom of the graphic is in reference to the T-Wall unveiled during the event bearing a mosaic with those words.
