The 332d Air Expeditionary Wing's Warrior of the Week for the week of April 11, 2022, is Staff Sgt. Mackey Harrington, 332d Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron aerospace ground equipment craftsman, shift lead.

Warrior of the Week is a competitive recognition program that highlights significant contributions made by individual Airmen who raise the Red Tail standard and enhance the mission and capabilities of the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing.

“I am very honored to be recognized by my leadership as a Warrior of the Week. It feels great being recognized for the hard work and time spent here on this deployment,” Harrington said. “We have made a lot of great improvements to our work center while we’ve been here, and established a great network with the rest of the flight line personnel. Looking back and seeing what we are leaving behind for our future Red Tails is a great feeling.”

Harrington led his shift of four personnel and directed the dispatch of critical support equipment that enabled partner nation fighter jets to continue NATO operations. Harrington also established support equipment collection and delivery protocol for joint partners while working with U.S. Marine Corps Fighter Attack Squadron 115 “Silver Eagles” during an agile combat employment exercise.

“With his love for mechanics and ability to fix things, Staff Sgt. Harrington is a great fit in the aerospace ground equipment career field. Harrington and his team most recently staged, inspected, and prepped 265 tons of equipment for a re-deployment movement,” said Master Sgt. Joshua Hamilton, 332 AEW EMXS maintenance flight chief.
