CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT COREY J. CROW

CMSgt Corey J. Crow is the Command Chief, 378th Air Expeditionary Wing, Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is the primary advisor to the wing commander on matters affecting mission readiness, morale, quality of life, utilization, health and welfare of the wing’s 2,600-plus multi- component personnel. The wing provides United States Air Forces Central Command dynamic mission capabilities including tactical air and ground attack, aeromedical evacuation, and a responsive, staging and operational air base with integrated air defense and forward-based air power. Additionally, Chief Crow provides operational and strategic input on plans, support, and execution of military operations in support of Saudi Arabia and regional counter-air, aerial interdiction, and close-air support actions throughout United States Central Command’s area of responsibility.

Chief Crow entered the Air Force in June 1999 after graduating from Cimarron High School in Lahoma, Okla. After Basic Military Training, he attended the Air Force Security Forces Academy Apprentice Course where he graduated with honors. He has served in various senior leadership positions worldwide at detachment, squadron, and wing levels and has an extensive background in nuclear security, law enforcement, integrated defense, expeditionary training and readiness, air advisory, airborne insertion, airfield seizure, air assault, open/close-the-airbase, counter-threat, ground combat, waterborne, and fly-away security operations.

His assignments include bases in Georgia, Korea, Hawaii, New Mexico, England, and South Carolina with 10 combat deployments to Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Niger, and United Arab Emirates in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, RUGGED ARCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, JUNIPER SHIELD, INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, SPARTAN SHIELD, and RESOLUTE SUPPORT.
Prior to his current position, the chief was the Security Forces Manager, 628th Security Forces Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, S.C.
