Firefighter to the Rescue
379th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighters work quickly to gain access to a KC-135 Stratotanker to put out a simulated fire and rescue an injured air crew member during a training exercise at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar Nov. 20. Within minutes, several firefighters climbed on to the plane's left wing, entered the aircraft and pulled the injured air crew member to safety. Training exercises help first responders maintain their skillsets. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. James Hodgman/Released)
