First time: Deployed fighters employ new munitions ferry tactic
A U.S. Air Force F-15 Strike Eagle assigned to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing claws its way into the sky with double its normal payload, April 25, 2021. This new configuration allows the wing to ferry extra munitions to forward operating bases projecting combat power throughout the theater, on the back of its workhorse, the F-15 Strike Eagle.
