Yurt upgrade
The traditional yurt located on the Transit Center at Manas in Kyrgyzstan, received a new sheep wool covering Sept. 7, 2013. The wooden center of the Yurt features a crown-wheel which is replicated on the center of the Kyrgyzstan national flag. First Sergeants restore memorial
Members of the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing work together to restore a memorial here, Sep 5, 2013. The memorial is the September 11 tri-wall that was initially painted in 2008. The first sergeants took the project on and with 13 volunteers from around the base, 2.5 gallons of paint and more than 150 man hours the project is finished.
