SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Zach Derringer, a member of the 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, sings “Home” by the rock group Daughtry during the Desert Idol competition on July 13 at a base in Southwest Asia. The 386th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron sponsored the event, which had three rounds of judging. Sergeant Derringer finished in third place and was awarded a prize of $50.
