Manas Airmen continue their volunteer efforts in local communities
Capt. Scott Karjala plays a game taught to him by the children of an orphanage in the town of Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, on Feb. 21. The object of the game is to knock stones out of a circle with another stone. Captain Karjala, deployed from the 501st Combat Support Wing, Mildenhall, United Kingdom, is one of many airmen who volunteer their time with the Manas Air Base Outreach Society. MABO is a private, non-profit organization that provides charitable donations, goods and/or services to people and organizations in the surrounding areas of Manas Air Base.
