U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Joseph Dumdei, 532nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, runs to first base during a softball game May 27, 2011, at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq. The ballpark started as a patch of uneven, unclaimed desert at the base in western Al Anbar Province. The Airmen, with the help of Soldiers, Sailors and civilian contractors, added lights, fences and dugouts.
