Three maintainers receive Army Achievement Medals
Air Force Senior Airman Loren Martinez, 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron aircraft metals technician, received an Army Achievement Medal from Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Shawn Bryan, Bravo Company 3-159th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion test pilot June 28, 2014 close to the fightline at The Rock in Southwest Asia. Martinez and two other maintainers were responsible for structural and composite repairs on a dozen AH-64Ds ensuring the aircraft were mission ready. Martinez, from Baldwin Park, California, deployed from the 146th Airlift Wing, Channel Islands Air National Guard Station, California, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
