Air Force Marathon

Capt. Ritchie Buenviaje, deployed to the 380th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Group, was the first 380th AEW member to complete the 10-km run during the Air Force Marathon event Sept. 17, 2011, at an air base in Southwest Asia. Buenviaje completed the course in 43 minutes, 50 seconds. 2011 marks the fifth year the Air Force has sanctioned deployed-location races overseas. These races offer military members the chance to share the experience and camaraderie associated with the Air Force Marathon held annually in Ohio to celebrate the creation of the U.S. Air Force.
