Manas Airmen tend to children?s cancer center needs

Tech. Sgt. Thomas Pettit (front) and Airman 1st Class Adam McDonough take floor measurements during a visit Feb. 25 to Kyrgyzstan?s sole Children?s Cancer Hospital in Bishkek. During the visit, many helping hands changed out 10 old faucets with new ones donated by MABOS, a private, non-profit volunteer service organization that works to support a number of causes in the greater Bishkek area. Up next on the agenda will be to replace the old flooring in the children?s playroom. Sergeant Pettit is assigned to the 376th Expeditionary Medical Group and is deployed from the 9th MG at Beale Air Force Base, Calif. He is originally from Fort Wayne, Ind. Airman McDonough is assigned to the 376th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron. He is deployed from the 334th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and is originally from Lake Elsinore, Calif. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Phyllis Hanson)
