F-6, a robot designed to locate explosive devices, searches for mock explosives during an interagency training exercise at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar Oct. 27. The robot belongs to the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal section and is often used to detect explosives before EOD technicians attempt to diffuse or remove such devices. The exercise featured professionals from three 379th Air Expeditionary Wing units including firefighters and security forces patrolmen and provided first responders with an opportunity to work together and learn from one another.
