Staff Sgt. Ryan Feeney, 340th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit crew chief, inspects the landing gear on a KC-135 Stratotanker prior to a mission June 1, 2016, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. KC-135 maintainers work behind the scenes to enable the success of the air refueling mission across the theater. The 340th AMU here maintains the largest KC-135 fleet in the world, launching more than 30 KC-135s daily in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and other theater requirements.
