Colonel JONATHAN T. CICHOWSKI

Col Jonathan T. Cichowski is the Deputy Commander of the 378 Air Expeditionary Wing. In this role, Colonel Cichowski assists the commander in providing combat ready aircraft, aircrew, and associated combat support in support of theater plans and operations, including Operations INHERENT RESOLVE, SPARTAN SHIELD, and PROSPERITY GUARDIAN.

Col Cichowski graduated from Baylor University and received his commission from Officer Training School in December 2004. He completed Undergraduate Pilot Training in 2006 and followed with F-16 Qualification Training in 2007. He is also a graduate of the USAF Weapons Instructor Course, in 2013.

Col Cichowski has been assigned as a combat aviator in the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility on three different occasions, has deployed to the Republic of Korea as part of a Theater Support Package, and has flown combat missions over Iraq in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and Operation NEW DAWN.

Col Cichowski has worked in various jobs at the squadron, group, and wing level as an F-16 Squadron Commander, Director of Operations, Weapons Officer, Forward Air Controller, Instructor Pilot, Mission Commander, and Flight Evaluator. Prior to his current position, the colonel was the Division Chief, F-35 System Management Office (ACC/A5F) at ACC Headquarters.
