Chief Master Sergeant Dan Johnson

Chief Master Sergeant Dan Johnson serves as the Command Chief, 332d Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia. 

Chief Master Sergeant Johnson enlisted into the South Dakota Air National Guard in 1988 and attended technical school for Munitions Systems Technology at Lowry, AFB, Colorado. Upon returning to the 114th Fighter Wing, he then began working for the 114th Maintenance Group in the Munitions Storage Area. During his career, he has served in several leadership positions within the Maintenance Group. He also served as the Munitions Accountable Systems Officer overseeing a munitions stockpile of 801-line items valued at over $24 million dollars with sole responsibility delegated by the Wing Commander. Prior to his current assignment, Chief Johnson was the Command Chief for the 114th Fighter Wing, Joe Foss Field.

Chief Johnson has taken part in numerous joint and multi-national exercises to include Checkered Flag, multiple Red Flags, as well as a Theater Support Package to Korea. Chief Johnson has completed eight tours in support of Operations Southern Watch, Northern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, and has deployed to Turkey, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Jordan and Korea.
