Chief Master Fredrick McBride serves as the Command Chief, 332d Air Expeditionary Wing, in Southwest Asia.
Chief McBride is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 4th Mission Support Group, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. In this capacity, he is the trusted senior enlisted advisor to the Mission Support Group Commander on military readiness, mission effectiveness, professional development, morale, welfare, training, and good order and discipline for over 1,500 total force Airmen assigned to Civil Engineer, Communications, Contracting, Force Support, Logistics Readiness, and Security Forces Squadrons. Additionally, he advises the commander on issues concerning housing and recreational services for a community of over 13,000 personnel. Finally, Chief McBride provides leadership and management to synchronize other groups, squadrons, and local mission partners in supporting commanders at all levels across the installation.
Chief McBride is from Sumter, South Carolina. He entered the Air Force in 1995 as a Services Apprentice. His Services background extends to serving at the Flight, Squadron, Group, and Headquarters level at bases located in Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Germany, Korea, and the United Kingdom. His deployments extends to Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, JOINT FORGE, and JOINT GUARD. Chief McBride earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 2018. Prior to assuming his current position, Chief McBride was the Senior Enlisted Leader, 332d Expeditionary Air Base Group.
