Chief Master Sergeant Chasity V. Hert is the Command Chief, 378th Air Expeditionary Wing, Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudia Arabia. She serves as the commander’s principal enlisted leader, supporting the readiness and utilization of 2500 Air and joint forces. The Wing’s mission is to sustain and defend joint and partner forces while projecting combat airpower in support of theater plans and operations. As the first Unit of Action in the CENTCOM AOR, the wing is comprised of 7 squadrons including an Expeditionary Air Base Squadron and 3 Mission Generation Force Elements supporting Operations INHERENT RESOLVE, SPARTAN SHIELD, and PROSPERITY GUARDIAN.
Chief Hert entered the Air Force in May 1999 followed by graduation of Security Forces Technical Training in September 1999 at Lackland Air Force Base. Throughout her career, she held a variety of leadership positions serving in the Security Forces career field and Basic Military Training. She participated in several operations and exercises as well as deployments in direct support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ODYSSEY DAWN, ENDURING FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE. Her assignments included bases in New Jersey, Texas, United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.
Prior to this assignment, she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 380th Security Forces Squadron, Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates.
