COLONEL BRADLEY S. BAKER

Col Bradley “Simon” Baker is the Commander, 378th Air Expeditionary Wing. The wing’s mission is to sustain and defend joint and partner forces while projecting combat power in support of theater plans and operations. He oversees 2,500 military and civilian personnel supporting multiple military operations.

A 2003 graduate from Waynesburg University, Col Baker commissioned through Officer Training School. As an F-15E instructor, he served in various capacities with the 336th and 334th Fighter Squadrons at Seymour Johnson AFB, the 492nd Fighter Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, England, and the 17th Weapons Squadron at Nellis AFB, Nevada. Col Baker previously commanded the 57th Weapons Support Squadron at the USAF Weapons School and is an alumnus of the Joint Advanced Warfighting School, the School of Advanced Military Studies, and the USAF Weapons School. Prior to his current position, Col Baker was the Commander, 23d Air Task Force.

Col Baker has accrued 2,100 total flight hours, including 515 combat hours, flying aircraft such as the T-6A, T-1, T-39, T-38C, and F-15E.
