Chief Master Sergeant AZEEZ O. OGUNTADE

Chief Master Sgt. Azeez O. "OG" Oguntade is the Command Chief of the 23d Air Task Force, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. As Command Chief, he serves as the senior enlisted advisor to the commander and 46 staff officers, providing guidance on readiness, force development, and the effective utilization   of   the   enlisted force.

The 23d Air Task Force develops and employs combat-ready forces across four geographically separated installations aligned under Air Combat Command and Air Mobility Command. The task force prepares more than 2,500 Airmen across 60 Air Force Specialty Codes to generate deployable force packages in support of Mission Command, Agile Combat Employment, and Air Expeditionary Wing 2.0.

Chief Oguntade entered the Air Force in November 2003. His career spans assignments across the eastern United States, the Pacific, and deployed operations in the U.S. Central Command and African areas of responsibility. He has supported Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE. His experience includes defense support of civil authorities, mission support operations, information systems, aviation  science, and safety programs.

Prior to his current assignment, Chief Oguntade served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 78th Mission Support Group, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
