SOUTHWEST ASIA
Members of the 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron and contractors lift a protective radome with a crane to place it over an AN/TPS 75 radar at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia May 29, 2013. The goal of the project was to protect the AN/TPS 75 radar from the harsh wind and heat of the region. The 727th EACS consists of the 255th Air Control Squadron from Gulfport, Miss., with augmentation from eight Air National Guard units and the Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officer/Assistant team from 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas. The 255th ACS has deployed four times in support of contingency operations overseas in the past ten years. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Seaton Hixson)
