SOUTHWEST ASIA – A 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron fire fighter, clears the smoking building of simulated victims during a practical exercise here August 7. The training gives the fire fighters a real-time visual of the incident and through their actions of trying to mitigate the emergency; they are learning through training and by working with other Airmen on how to complete the emergency safely without loss of life or danger to their crew.
