Prepared for the worst, providing the best
SOUTHWEST ASIA – Two firefighters from the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, prepare to enter a building full of smoke to look for potential victims during a practical exercise here August 7. The scenario-based exercise was a simulated vehicle versus building incident. This particular scenario was a certification course that provided a real-world scenario to a fire fighter who is moving up in the ranks to be a crew chief of a fire apparatus. This exercise gave the fire fighter a chance to make the decisions that would need to be made when faced with an emergency. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Alexandra M. Boutte)
