SOUTHWEST ASIA – Staff Sgt. Heather Kurak, 386th Medical Group, dental hygienist, prepares to floss a patient’s teeth here August 4. Kurak’s mission here is to assist the dentist in treating patients who have pain and returning them to duty. The dental clinic averages ten patients per week with the largest problem of broken teeth.
