Deployed 387th Airmen serve in joint tasking as combat truckers
Combat truckers assigned to the 387th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron help each other unstrap their cargo while waiting for for forklifts to arrive during a local convoy mission. Due to mission priorities and procedures, these Airmen can sometimes wait long hours before returning, eating and sleeping. In a recent mission, they waited 13 hours after having driven six hours to their destination. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Cynthia Spalding)
