Air advisors aid weapons delivery to Iraqi partners, bolster internal security
BAGHDAD -- Maj. Claudio Covacci, 721st Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron maintenance officer, talks with Iraqi Army Aviation Command leadership during a mission to deliver M240 machine guns from Baghdad to Camp Taji March 14. A half dozen 721st Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron advisors comprised of ammo, weapons and maintenance specialists helped complete a mission to deliver nearly 30 machine guns that will eventually be mounted to Iraqi Mi-171E aircraft used for various missions throughout the country.
