386th Airmen get a grip at the wheel
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- A student employs a skid-control technique while maneuvering a training vehicle Oct. 12 at the Army Safe Driver Training here. The vehicle's rear tires are mounted to special airplane wheels that instructors can rotate 360 degrees on command, inducing spins that students must control. The ASDT has trained more than 15,500 U.S. and host-nation military members since opening in late 2005. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Laura Turner)
