386th Force Protection Arimen self defense training

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Airmen do pushups for a mistake made Jan. 24, 2008, during self defense tactics training with batons at an air base in the Persian Gulf Region. The self defense training familiarizes Airmen with how to use non-lethal force to defend themselves. The Airmen are assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron and are deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Patrick Dixon)
