SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Chief Master Sergeant Scott Dearduff, the new command chief for Ninth Air Force and United States Air Forces Central, converses with Staff Sgt. Ruben Ramones, a crew chief deployed to the 386th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, April 25, 2008, while visiting an air base in the Persian Gulf Region. Command Chief Dearduff is visiting Airmen throughout the area of responsibility to get a first-hand look at Airmen accomplishing a variety of different mission sets supporting the Global War on Terrorism.
