C-17 takeoff

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- A C-17 Globemaster III aircraft takes off on a sortie from an air base in Southwest Asia. C-17s and C-130 Hercules aircraft have helped the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing has moved more than 700,000 passengers and more than 88,000 short tons of cargo this year alone in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, making it one of the busiest aerial ports in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
