First Sergeants restore memorial
Mr. Mike May, 386th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, telephone installation and repair contractor, restores a memorial mural here, Sept. 5, 2013. The memorial is the September 11 tri-wall that was initially painted in 2008. May is restoring the memorial that has degraded due to the years of wear and tear. He also has researched the images used to create the walls and is making minor changes to make the walls a little more authentic. May, a native of Tampa, Fla., was asked by the first sergeants to work with them to bring the memorial back to life. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Christopher A. Campbell)
